Plot
Wang Shuangli, Deputy Director of the Cultural Centre, is eager for promotion to Director. However, his ambitions are thwarted when Old Ma, a country newcomer, is unexpectedly appointed to the position. This shift triggers a series of scheming maneuvers from Wang and his allies, who resort to bureaucratic tactics to undermine Old Ma’s authority. As tensions rise, the clash between the seasoned bureaucrat and the outsider reveals the complexities of ambition, loyalty, and the struggle for power within their community.
