Over the Sky (2020)

Plot

Mio, a carefree high school student, spends her afternoons in Ikebukuro with her childhood friend Arata and best friend Madoka. Everything shifts when Madoka confesses her feelings for Arata, causing Mio to confront her own hidden love for him. Fearing the potential fallout, she pretends to support their budding romance while distancing herself from Arata, leading to a confrontation. Just as she resolves to mend things, a car accident sends her into a surreal version of Ikebukuro, where familiar sights take on an eerie twist, challenging her understanding of love and friendship.
