Plot
An elderly shepherd spends his final days in a serene medieval village nestled in the hills of Calabria, the southernmost part of Italy. He tends to his goats beneath skies that the majority of villagers have long abandoned. Battling illness, he believes that the remedy he seeks lies in the dust he gathers from the church floor, which he mixes into his drinking water each day.
