Plot

Set in 1981, Wau Holland and fellow hackers founded the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) in Hamburg, driven by a passion for technology and a commitment to hacker ethics. They believed in the free flow of information while advocating for the protection of personal data. As computer technology blossomed, the nascent Internet became a canvas for social ideals. Yet, not everyone adhered to these principles. This documentary weaves together the voices of the original German hackers, showcasing a rich tapestry of archival video and audio that reflects their journey and the evolution of their dreams.
