Plot
Amedeo and Ofelia, a middle-aged brother and sister, find themselves in a bind with their aging condominium, which they hope to sell. However, their plans are complicated by reluctant tenants who refuse to vacate. When their beloved mascot, a cat known as Il Gatto, dies, the siblings seize the opportunity to infiltrate the tenants' lives. Amedeo becomes romantically involved with the young Wanda, while Ofelia charms the local priest, Don Pezzolla. Amidst their scheming, the police are on the hunt for the culprit behind the cat's untimely demise.
