Plot

Giuseppe Carta, born in the early 1950s in Banari, Sardinia, is a talented painter and sculptor. Growing up as a shepherd alongside his brothers, he always dreamed of becoming an artist. Today, he enjoys international acclaim in his field. Despite his humble beginnings, which set him apart from his peers, Giuseppe finds a true friend in Enrico, the son of a wealthy industrialist. Giuseppe also harbors feelings for Marta, a girl from the affluent villages of Sassari. Their love story blossoms, overcoming the social barriers that separate them.
