Plot

Carlos Alonso and Mercedes Cebrián are the devoted parents of fifteen children, each with varying ages, living alongside their grandfather. Relying solely on Carlos's job as a moonlighting rigger, the family often faces financial struggles. They also receive help from Juan, their generous godfather and local baker. Through a series of events, we glimpse their daily life: the first communion of two of their sons, the finals for nine of the kids, a holiday on the Costa Dorada that sparks romances within the family, and the heart-wrenching loss and recovery of their youngest, Chencho, in Madrid’s Plaza Mayor. Their first television marks the exciting news of yet another child on the way.
