Plot
An American attorney on vacation in Europe is drawn into intrigue when a book publisher requests he visit Salzburg, Austria, to meet a photographer working on a project about the region’s scenic lakes. Upon arrival, he quickly realizes something is amiss—the photographer has mysteriously disappeared, leaving behind a distraught wife and a suspicious brother. As he delves deeper, the lawyer unwittingly becomes entangled in a web of espionage and danger, uncovering a Nazi-era list of collaborators that could have deadly consequences.
