Ordeal in the Arctic (1993)

Plot

Military flight Boxtop 22 from Thule takes a catastrophic turn when it crashes in the unforgiving Canadian Arctic, leaving Gulf War veteran Captain John Couch and his crew in a dire situation. Initially relieved that 14 of the 18 passengers survived, hope quickly dwindles as the relentless cold sets in. Among the survivors is Captain Wilma De Groot, a doctor, but two passengers, Bob and Sue, remain immobile near the lone campfire. With rescue efforts from Alert just 10 miles away and air support from Edmonton taking an agonizing 32 hours, despair deepens as they fight for survival against the elements.
