Plot
When a detective is attacked and confined to an asylum led by Professor Baum, he becomes intrigued by the sinister Dr. Mabuse, a master criminal and hypnotist among the patients. As Baum obsessively studies Mabuse, a series of daring crimes emerge, linked to the enigmatic doctor’s cryptic writings. Commissioner Lohmann faces the daunting task of deciphering how Mabuse manipulates his criminal network while grappling with contradictory sightings of the elusive mastermind. The clock ticks as Lohmann races to capture Mabuse and put an end to the chaos he orchestrates from the shadows.
