Plot
Beatrice, grieving the loss of her husband, a far-right police officer, navigates life with her son and mother while harboring deep-seated prejudices against migrants. Her perspective shifts dramatically upon meeting Mokhtar, an Iranian who has entered France illegally. Their unexpected romance challenges Beatrice to confront her own biases and societal norms. As her feelings deepen, she becomes willing to risk everything, including her safety and the law, to help Mokhtar escape to a better life across the Channel, sparking a profound transformation within herself.
