Plot
Lieutenant Humphrey Fairweather (David Tomlinson), a clumsy navy officer, finds himself assigned to the aging HMS Berkeley to keep him safely away from danger. However, alongside the scheming Chief Petty Officer Doherty (Peter Sellers), Fairweather's antics spiral into chaos. As their misadventures escalate, the situation reaches a hilarious climax when the Admiralty arrives for a critical inspection.
