Plot

Set in 1820s Prague, a destitute student named Balduin saves the life of Countess Margit, a beautiful noblewoman. Their chance encounter ignites a passionate romance, but the vast gulf between their social standings complicates their relationship. As Balduin grapples with his feelings for Margit, he becomes entangled in a web of desire, ambition, and betrayal.
