Plot

MOLE MAN tells the story of RON, a 66-year-old autistic man who has dedicated the past fifty years to constructing a 50-room creation in his parents' backyard. Using only scavenged materials from the woods near his Western Pennsylvania home, Ron builds intricate structures without the aid of nails or mortar. Following the death of his father, Ron is left alone with his 90-year-old mother, prompting his siblings to consider what is best for him, especially since he has never been officially diagnosed with autism. To secure his home, Ron's friends embark on a quest to locate a legendary mansion that Ron believes is hidden in the forest. Will they find it, or does it even exist? This is a tale of a remarkable life, family bonds, and the beauty of unique perspectives.
