Plot
Anne-Marie enjoys a seemingly perfect life with her wealthy husband, Gilbert, but beneath the surface, her marriage is crumbling. She finds fleeting happiness through beach runs and passionate encounters with her lover, Leo. When Gilbert dies in a car accident, she sees it as a chance to finally be with Leo. However, her plans are derailed when her well-intentioned family moves in to support her as the grieving widow. Torn between her true feelings and the expectations of her loved ones, Anne-Marie finds herself trapped in a facade more stifling than her previous life.
