Plot
In the early 20th century, Peñaflor, a quaint Spanish town, is home to Juan Andrés Aldije Monmeja, known locally as "The Frenchman." Unlike a typical innkeeper, he operates a seedy bar and illegal gambling operation while exploiting his waitresses. Seeking a more efficient way to profit from his patrons, The Frenchman resorts to murder, robbing his victims and burying their bodies in the inn’s garden. As the disappearances mount, the community grows suspicious, sparking an investigation that threatens to unveil his sinister secrets.
