Plot

After serving in the Confederate army, a veteran returns to New Mexico only to discover his fiancée has wed a Union soldier. Faced with hostility from his former neighbors and betrayal by a local banker who sold his property, he finds himself in a perilous situation. The banker hires a ruthless gunman to eliminate him, forcing the veteran to confront not only his past but also the violent present.
