Plot
After a terrorist strike on a government lab, mutant snakes emerge to terrorize Santa Mira Springs, California. Seismic shifts have forced these creatures above ground, leading to a rash of bites among the townsfolk. The infected individuals carry a virus that can spread to others, prompting the military to quarantine the area. While local doctors scramble to manage the outbreak, the military focuses on concealing the virus's existence from the public. Tension mounts as residents fight for survival against both the snakes and the looming threat of a cover-up.
