Black Midnight (1949)

Plot

Scott Jordan, a passionate young horse lover, resides on a family ranch with his uncle Bill. After purchasing a wild stallion from his troublesome cousin Daniel, Scott names the horse Midnight and embarks on a journey to tame him. Trouble arises when the sheriff suspects Midnight is stolen, and a confrontation with Daniel leads to a tragic accident. To save his beloved horse from being destroyed, Scott must prove that Midnight acted out of self-defense. Directed by Oscar “Budd” Boetticher, this film showcases Roddy McDowall's talents in one of his six Monogram Pictures productions.
