Plot

After the Qing soldiers devastate the Shaolin temple, Hu Te and his companions narrowly escape the flames. Determined to regroup, the five develop secret codes to identify fellow patriots and plan a daring retreat southward, all while seeking the traitor responsible for the temple's downfall. Ma Fu Yi, aligned with the Qing's elite fighters, aims to crush the rebels but is betrayed by Ma Chao-Tsing, who falls into enemy hands. Hu eventually unites with a band of Shaolin men masquerading as bandits to rescue Ma, leading to a fierce confrontation that solidifies their alliance against the Qing forces.
