Clay (1965)

Plot

A fugitive, escaping from his past, is discovered face down in a muddy clay bank and taken in by a group of potters. Among them, he finds solace and unexpected love with a local woman. However, jealousy brews when another suitor, who has been pursuing her, betrays the fugitive by alerting the authorities. In a twist of fate, the woman seeks her own form of retribution for the betrayal, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation within the tight-knit pottery community.
