Plot
Writer Ted Fletcher, encouraged by his diplomat friend Alex, embarks on a working holiday in Kyoto with his wife, Laura, and their daughter, Amy. Settling into a seemingly charming house, they dismiss local tales of hauntings. However, the spectral presence of a 19th-century samurai named Shigero soon reveals itself, with sinister intentions. The family finds themselves trapped in a chilling cycle, forced to relive a tragic murder-suicide from the past. As the haunting intensifies, their bonds and sanity are put to the test in a race against time to break the curse.
