Plot

Donatella, a humble Roman girl and daughter of a bookbinder, navigates life alongside her boyfriend Guido, who runs a gas station. One fateful day, she discovers a woman's handbag filled with valuables and decides to return it to its owner, an affluent American woman. Grateful for the gesture, the lady offers Donatella a position as her secretary, managing her villa during her travels. At the villa, Donatella encounters Maurizio, a charming and cultured young man, and soon finds herself swept away by unexpected romance.
