Olanda (2019)

Plot

The film follows mushroom pickers who venture into the southern Carpathians of Romania during the summer and autumn seasons. For many, this isn't just a hobby; it's a crucial source of income that supports their families. They set up temporary camps in the midst of thick coniferous forests along the Transalpina road, where they sell their collected mushrooms to tourists and weekend visitors. Most of their bounty, however, is sold to middlemen, who then export the mushrooms for significantly higher prices.
