Plot
Marta, a hopeless romantic and an underachiever, navigates life in a cramped home with her sister Kasia and their storytelling grandmother, who fills their heads with tales of rebellion instead of fairy tales. Behind a thin wall, their parents, Tadek and Elżbieta, grapple with the challenges of 1980s Poland. Tadek, a bright man humiliated by the government, secretly brews moonshine, while Elżbieta leads the "Solidarity" movement, yearning for freedom. When the family acquires a dream orange Fiat 126p, they embark on adventures that ignite their aspirations and spark Marta’s first love.
