House of Voices (2004)

Plot

Set in the French Alps in 1958, Anna Jurin begins her new role as a servant at the Saint Ange Orphanage, assisting Helena as the remaining orphans transition to new homes. While concealing her own pregnancy, Anna forms a bond with Judith, the last orphan left behind due to her mental struggles. Their connection deepens as Anna discovers that Judith also experiences unsettling voices and footsteps echoing through the orphanage, hinting at a haunting presence that may intertwine their fates.
