Plot
Nathan Algren, an American military advisor, is brought to Japan to teach the army modern combat techniques. However, as he immerses himself in the culture, he grows to admire the samurai and their noble code. Faced with the task of eradicating their traditions for the sake of modernization and trade, Algren chooses to embrace their principles, transforming into a true warrior and committing to defend their way of life.
