Plot

A struggling amateur theater group is far from ready to stage their rendition of "The Insect Play," a renowned satire from 1922 by Karel and Josef Čapek. With the Dung Beetle running late, the Parasite dozing off, and Mrs. Larva distracted by her knitting, the cast's lack of focus highlights their challenges. As they grapple with the human-like vices of their insect characters—greed, egocentrism, and jealousy—their journey becomes a humorous exploration of ambition and the absurdities of performance.
