Set in the 1930s on the Arabian Peninsula, two rival leaders, Nesib and Amar, reach a tense agreement to coexist peacefully, establishing a neutral territory known as The Yellow Belt. To secure this fragile peace, Nesib adopts Amar’s sons, Saleeh and Auda. Over a decade later, the boys have matured into distinct young men: Saleeh yearns for adventure and his biological heritage, while Auda immerses himself in academia. When an American arrives with news of vast oil reserves under the Yellow Belt, Nesib envisions a prosperous future, but the land's ownership poses a significant dilemma.
