Plot

Chronicling Sir Ernest Shackleton's harrowing Antarctic expedition, this documentary captures the gripping tale of the crew aboard the Endurance, which became ensnared in ice during 1914. With many crew members weakened by starvation and exposure, Shackleton embarked on a perilous journey with his strongest men to seek rescue. Battling treacherous conditions and insufficient gear, they bravely pressed on until they reached civilization. Convinced the stranded crew was still alive, Shackleton returned to the ice.
