Plot

Childhood friends Ben and Matt find their bond strained as adulthood sets in. When Ben receives a diabetes diagnosis, Matt fails to provide the support his friend needs. During a lakeside vacation, Matt is jolted awake by alarming noises from Ben's room. Rushing in, he discovers Ben in the grips of a diabetic seizure, convulsing and unable to breathe. With no phone or nearby hospital, Matt faces a daunting challenge: he must swim across the lake to reach help and save his friend’s life. Their friendship hangs in the balance as time runs out.
