Plot

Lara and Helen Baxter are polar opposites—gothic Lara, with her Anne Rice shrine, finds solace in cemeteries, while cheerful blonde Helen shines as a church choir star and popular student. Their lives take a dark turn when Helen unexpectedly dies from a severe nosebleed. Brother Raymond discovers a mysterious blood disorder that nobody recognizes. To everyone’s shock, Helen returns from the dead, revealing she has become a vampire after consuming the morticians' blood. The family grapples with their new reality, determined to protect Helen and meet her terrifying new needs at any cost.
