Plot

Amid the turmoil of Emperor Maximilian I's reign in Mexico, Sabata is enlisted by guerrilla leader Señor Ocaño to pilfer a wagon filled with gold from the occupying Austrian forces. Upon executing the heist with his allies, Escudo and Ballantine, they discover the wagon is filled with sand instead. The true treasure has been taken by Colonel Skimmel of the Austrian army. Undeterred, Sabata devises a new plan to reclaim the stolen gold, blending cunning and action in this classic western adventure.
