Plot

Amid the chaos of World War II, Canadian pilot Gordon Devereaux finds solace in the English countryside during his leave. There, he meets and falls for Wendy, a local girl. Their romance blossoms, but fate intervenes as Gordon is reassigned to the Pacific, leaving him separated from Wendy forever. Fast forward to 2008, Wendy’s passing prompts her granddaughter to embark on a journey to uncover the identity of her long-lost grandfather, revealing a poignant connection that transcends time and war.
