Plot

Dan Elswick set out in early 2016 to chronicle BANE's last US tour, intending to create a tribute to his favorite band. However, the project evolved into a deeper exploration of their legacy. As hardcore music distanced itself from punk roots, BANE emerged as a force challenging norms through their music and lyrics. After two decades of authenticity, the band confronted the pressures of personal life and self-doubt, ultimately deciding to conclude with a final album and tour. Holding These Moments delves into the complexities of artistic integrity and the quest for meaning in life, featuring insights from band members, fans, and friends.
