A Respectable Life (1979)
Plot
A decade has passed since the events of "Dom kallar oss mods," and the once vibrant spirit has faded. Kenta, now an alcoholic, lives with his girlfriend Eva and their son, Patric. His mother is incarcerated for manslaughter, prompting a visit to Kronoberg. Meanwhile, Stoffe struggles with heroin addiction while living with his girlfriend Lena and their son, Janne. After enduring Stoffe’s abusive behavior, Lena finally kicks him out, forcing him to return to his mother. Kenta seeks to reconnect with Stoffe and urge him to quit drugs, but their friendship ultimately fractures. The film concludes with the death of a key character from the trilogy.
