Plot
In this Swedish tale, we follow the lesser-known hero, Gösta Engzell, a bureaucrat at the Swedish Foreign Ministry during World War II. Although his role was often overlooked, he played a pivotal part in saving thousands of lives. Through his courageous actions, he transformed Sweden from a country perceived as neutral into a beacon of moral strength during a tumultuous time in history.
