Plot

Ambrose C. Park, abandoned as a baby, longs to reunite with his family while working as an assistant to a diamond cutter. Shady lawyer Remlick devises a scheme to obtain a valuable uncut diamond by having Emily Drummon, Duke Fargoh, and Maggie Drummon impersonate Ambrose's relatives. Their plan involves getting Ambrose to cut the diamond, but Maggie, disillusioned by the con, warns him. What follows is a hilarious pursuit filled with mayhem. Ultimately, Ambrose finds joy in the absurdity, believing he can now marry his "sister."
