Plot

A poignant tale of camaraderie and perseverance unfolds as two friends from the Somali national soccer team pursue their dreams amidst daunting challenges. Saadiq, 17, and Sa’ad, 19, the team’s brightest talents, seize the chance to showcase their skills in the sole televised match of the year, hoping to attract scouts. With their passports rendered useless by conflict, soccer becomes their lifeline against escalating terror and poverty. As Saadiq heads to America for education and opportunity, Sa’ad remains in Mogadishu, dreaming of a reunion. Together, they aspire to inspire a generation yearning for hope beyond war.
