Plot
Nick and his younger brother endured a turbulent childhood, caring for their baby sibling while their mother succumbed to alcoholism. The tragic death of the infant haunts them both for years. After serving time for assault, Nick struggles with alcohol and life in a shelter, attempting to support an old friend. At their mother's funeral, he reconnects with his brother, who, despite being a single father, battles a worsening drug addiction. Desperate to provide for his son, he turns to dealing drugs. Their paths cross once more as they confront their shared past and uncertain futures.
