Plot

Hla and Nyo Nyo navigate the turmoil of conflict-ridden Myanmar, where Hla operates a makeshift clinic catering to the persecuted Rohingya Muslim community. As a Buddhist, she defies societal norms to provide essential care, while Nyo Nyo, a Muslim aspiring midwife, serves as her assistant and translator. Despite her family's long-standing roots in the region, Nyo Nyo faces discrimination as an outsider. Inspired by Hla's bravery, she becomes resolute in her quest to serve her community as a reliable healthcare provider, risking everything in the process.
