Plot
Twelve-year-old Donn Fendler becomes restless while waiting for his father and brothers at the summit of Maine's tallest mountain. Opting to head back to camp alone, he quickly finds himself lost in a dense fog that obscures the trail. A sudden fall down an embankment further complicates his situation, leaving him isolated and vulnerable. As he navigates the wilderness, Donn faces the harsh realities of survival, wandering alone for nearly two weeks, grappling with the challenges of nature and his own resilience in a daunting landscape.
