Plot

Arthur Kipps, a beleaguered shop assistant, dreams of owning a banjo, but his life takes a dramatic turn when he unexpectedly inherits a fortune. Suddenly, he has the means to indulge in lavish pleasures and even assemble an entire orchestra. However, as Arthur navigates his newfound riches, he soon discovers that wealth doesn't necessarily equate to happiness. Faced with temptations and challenges, he must determine what truly matters in life beyond mere material possessions. Will he find joy in his riches or long for something more meaningful?
