Jerome Hill, a passionate admirer of France, particularly Provence, invites a friend to Cassis, where he spends his summers. From a cozy room with a sea view, the visitor immerses himself in reading and writing. Inspired by the light that captivated artist Signac from his nearby studio, he sets up his Bolex camera to capture the essence of the port. Over the course of a single day, he films the breathtaking scenery from dawn to dusk, meticulously documenting the beauty of Cassis in one continuous shot.
