Plot
In 1903, Dr. Huntington Bailey encounters a charming elderly woman on a train, who shares her plans to visit her brother Nick and his beautiful wife, Allida. Upon arriving in New York, Bailey is shocked to learn of his train companion's sudden death. His unease grows when he meets Nick and Allida, and he becomes increasingly concerned about Nick's peculiar behavior toward his wife. As Bailey delves deeper, he uncovers unsettling truths that put Allida’s well-being at risk, igniting a quest to protect her from the dark shadows surrounding her marriage.
