Plot
Set in the early 19th century, a U.S. Navy vessel commanded by Captain David Porter is poised for shore leave after a grueling year at sea. However, the unexpected arrival of Lieutenant David Farragut, a headstrong former student of Porter, shifts their course. Tasked with masquerading as pirates, the crew embarks on a mission to track down criminals plaguing American trade routes. Yet, as Farragut's insubordination endangers their mission and crew, they inadvertently uncover an intricate international plot that complicates their journey.
