Plot
Anni, raised in a life of privilege, finds herself captivated by Veikko, a veteran scarred from the Continuation War. Choosing love over comfort, she embraces a pioneering existence on a remote farm in northern Karelia. Initially, their new life seems promising, but harsh realities soon challenge Anni's hopes, putting her devotion to Veikko through a rigorous trial. As fate intervenes, she must confront the sacrifices and uncertainties of love in an unyielding landscape.
