Plot

Set in 1960s Lyon, twelve-year-old Emile idolizes his father, a self-proclaimed hero boasting skills as a judo champion, parachutist, soccer player, and advisor to General de Gaulle. Eager to support his dad's mission to save French Algeria, Emile engages in perilous tasks like spying and delivering classified messages. Taking his father's adventures seriously, he even enlists his new friend Luca to join their covert operations. However, as Emile delves deeper into this world, he begins to question the authenticity of his father's tales and the true dangers they pose for young boys.
