Plot
Damien, a professor specializing in Chinese civilization, shares a stagnant marriage with Iva, a theater director, and their son Noé. Their once-vibrant love is now overshadowed by monotony. When Iva seeks to prevent Zorica's deportation, she persuades Damien to approach his estranged father, a state department official, for assistance. Reluctantly, he agrees, but their fraught relationship complicates matters. As Damien navigates this risky endeavor, he finds himself descending into chaos, ultimately challenging his own sense of identity and family bonds.
