Plot
Set against the backdrop of World War I, Josephine Norris, a young woman from a quaint town, finds herself in a tumultuous situation after having an illegitimate son with a wandering pilot. Her hopes of adopting him are dashed when he is placed with a different family. Despite the heartache, Josephine dedicates her life to silently cherishing her son from a distance, grappling with the bittersweet nature of her unfulfilled dreams and the sacrifices made for love.
